A:Applicant who has a financial supporter residing in Japan has to submit the documents below
Letter of guarantee from a guarantor in applicant's own country (form A)
Letter from a supporter residing in Japan explaining his/her relation to the applicant (in Japanese or English)
Certificate of Guarantee with the documents below:
g) Document that proves the relation between the applicant and the financial supporter
(officially certified)
h) A copy of the certificate of tax payment of the financial supporter
i) Verification of the supporter's deposit balance issued by the bank in Japan
j) Certificate of residence
B: Applicant who has a financial supporter residing in his/her home country or out
of Japan has to submit the documents below;
Letter of guarantee from a guarantor in applicant's own country (form A)
Certificate of Guarantee that shows the means of sending/paying expense
g) Document that proves the relation between the applicant and the financial supporter (officially certified)
h) Certificate of employment of the supporter(issued by the company/officially certified)
i) Certificate of yearly income of the supporter(issued by the company/officially certified)
j) Verification of the supporter's deposit balance issued by the bank(officially certified)
7.SCREENING & NOTIFICATION
After reviewing application files, applicants will be notified acceptance or rejection,
usually one month after application deadline.
8.ENTRY VISA PROCEDURE
Students are urged to enter Japan on a student visa, rather than entering on a
tourist visa and applying for change of status. It sometimes takes more than two
months for the Japanese Ministry of Justice to issue an entry visa
